LOVE INTO PURPOSE
Their paths are different, but their examples matter. For Somali students, seeing women from their community build, serve and lead can make a dream feel possible. Runta shares these stories to encourage young people to pursue their education, seek guidance and use what they learn to help others
Keep learning. Build a legacy.
Help someone else rise. Keep learning. Build a legacy. Help someone else rise. Dr. Jamila shared how wanting to understand her mother’s illness inspired her to become a doctor. LEADERSHIP IN ACTION
Senator Zaynab Mohamed’s work on driver’s license access and renters’ protections offers another example of Somali American women turning a commitment to others into action.
