It’s that time of year again! Enjoy the fan-favorite seasonal transit service that makes getting to the trailhead from the city as easy as boarding a bus.
Trailhead Direct is provided by King County Metro, in partnership with King County Parks and Seattle Department of Transportation and sponsored by Amazon. This project seeks to ease vehicle congestion, reduce safety hazards and expand access to hiking destinations along I-90. Trailhead Direct offers access to countless trails ranging from easy to strenuous.

Weekend/Holiday Service Only
Trailhead Direct is a seasonal service that operates on weekends and designated holidays. The designated holidays for operation are Memorial Day (Monday, May 25) and Independence Day (Friday, July 3).

Use Metro’s online Trip Planner desktop, mobile or Android or iOS apps to plan trips on scheduled service in King, Pierce and Snohomish counties. It provides details about transit stops, routes and schedules.
